Kevin first got in touch after seeing the progress I was making on my Aston Martin DB2 restoration. The timing couldn’t have been better

I was actively looking for someone to build the engine and after just a short conversation, it was clear he was exactly the right person for the job.
With over two decades of experience building classic Aston Martin engines and in particular the early Feltham Lagonda types, he has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the marque, Kevin brought not only technical expertise but a genuine enthusiasm that aligned perfectly with my goal of creating a reliable, fast road engine.

I wanted to be involved in the process where possible, particularly in completing some of the final ancillary work before installation. Kevin has been incredibly supportive, and he’ll also be helping with the initial run-up and tuning once the engine is in the car.

The 4.7 engine in my DB 6 is proof of quality in both machining and balance, the engine is super smooth and the extra care taken  in all aspects of preparation for engine building really shows.

The balance factors and tolerances Kevin put into my engine components prior to engine assembly is exceptional and with all the current investment in the latest machining and air flow equipment that Hutson Engineering has invested in the engines will be now be even better!

Kevin is the best!
He helped me rebuild the engine of a beautiful and rare DB4 S.I. (one of 73 LHD examples). The liners were corroded, and water came out of the little holes in the block, but thanks to Kevin, it now handles bigger pistons and liners plus DBS cams and bigger valves, the result is a breathtaking 300hp

Now it's a real ASTON MARTIN.
