This Aston Martin VB6/J engine arrived at Hutson Engineering for a complete restoration after being dismantled several years ago.

Some parts were missing, and others were beyond economical repair. After a thorough evaluation, the engine components underwent stringent re-manufacturing procedures and were subsequently reassembled and dyno-tested.

The engine was rebuilt to a concourse standard with some internal modifications and upgraded parts for increased durability; the engine successfully powered the car home in the gruelling 2025 Coppa Delle Alpi Rally. 

Although not built for competition use, the successful completion of this event is a testament to the durability Hutson Engineering builds into each engine.
