Conversions for carburettor cars to EFI are proving increasingly popular.  In some instances, location, mechanical application and infrequent use can be major influencing factors for owners.  

The reliability of a modern EFI removes the requirements for annual tuning, increases torque and BHP with a reduction in fuel economy. This reassures owners about the improved performance and reliability of their cars.

Whilst EFI would remove the "feel" of a historic car, running on simple, twin carburettors, it starts to make much more sense for multi carburettor cars with large output engines. For AM V8s, for example, we offer a concealed system; this keeps the under-bonnet appearance as original but with all the benefits of a modern, adaptable F.I. system.

With the Aston Martin DBS V8 mechanical F.I. system, we can retain most of the original appearance and update to a modern ECU and injection system. 

For 6-cylinder Aston Martin engines with 2 or 3, S.U. Carburettors: We can locate the fuel injectors under the original carburettors and retain the original linkage system by using the carburettors as throttle bodies, governing the air intake.
